Loan requests for articles for CSM students, staff, and faculty are free if we can obtain the articles through our no charge lenders. The fee for CSM alumnae is $5.00 per request. If there are additional charges, you will be contacted by library staff so you can decide if you want to proceed with the order.

We try to obtain materials free of additional charge through reciprocal lending. If there are additional charges, you will be contacted before item is ordered.

The copyright law of the U.S. (Title 17, U.S.C.) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material. Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction. One of these specified conditions is that the photocopy or reproduction is not to be "used for any other purpose than private study, scholarship or research." If a user makes a request for, or later uses, a photocopy or reproduction for purposes in excess of "fair use," that user may be liable for copyright infringement. Restrictions
Libraries generally do not lend audio-visual or reference materials, or entire issues of periodicals.
Only registered patrons can use Interlibrary Loan Services, please visit the library to be registered. All fees will be charged to your CSM library account. Payment is due upon pickup of your Interlibrary Loan. Any non-payment, including not picking up your loan, will result in a library hold and could result in a transcript/grade hold in IQ Student.
